This tour goes along the Kander from Spiez into the Kandertal. This is part of the official, blue, national cycle route 64 Jura-Lötschberg.

A stop-off at the Tropenhaus in Frutigen is worthwhile. Then the road leads through the increasingly narrow Kandertal up to the magic Blausee. Another break in the impressive natural idyll is almost a must. You can either already turn around, get on the postbus or drive further to Kandersteg. From there it goes back the same way or with the train back to Spiez. The road is well-paved throughout the whole of the tour, except for a little section of gravel road. This trail is suitable for everyday bicycles, e-bikes and gravel bikes.
