The Rüttistein is an overgrown boulder, which is located in Hondrich at the Rütistrasse. A boulder is mainly an individual horizontal, very big rock, which was transported by the glacier during the Ice Age. When the ice melts and separates from the glacier, the rocks remain as boulders. The erratic block Hondrich is composed of quartzite-sandstone and had a long journey. It comes from the area of Innertkirchen in Haslital.
